The Team:

The Core Mining Engine teams are responsible for our proprietary in-memory analytical database that empowers our customers to perform process mining on large datasets. It is the backbone of Celonis’ Execution Management System (EMS) platform, which helps thousands of customers optimize their business processes and operations.

The Role:

As a member of our platform team, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful operation of the database and in enabling Core Mining Engine teams to deliver exceptional values to our customers.

The work you’ll do:

• Design and implement robust processes, tools and services to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of the microservices that make up our database.
• Enable engineers from the Core Mining Engine teams to work more productively by leveraging automation and effective tooling.
• Challenge the existing status quo by identifying opportunities to simplify/improve our development and deployment processes.
• Gather insights and sentiments from engineers and elevate their developer experience.

The qualifications you need:

• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
• Curiosity for learning new technologies and solving complex problems.
• A proactive attitude to own and drive topics.
• Knowledge of container and orchestration infrastructure. Kubernetes and its workings will be a big plus.
• Experience with CI/CD tools. Knowledge of GitHub Actions is a plus.
• Fluency in scripting and modern object-oriented languages.
• Familiarity with C++ or Java build process. Knowledge of Maven or CMake is a plus.
