A leading freelance consulting platform in Germany is seeking a Team Lead Sales to provide strategic leadership and oversee a team of sales managers. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of sales experience, with a proven leadership background in B2B environments. Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and driving team performance. Fluency in German and English is essential, along with a strong customer focus and results-oriented mindset.

We are currently ramping up our Sales and Business Development team across various levels. And this is where you come in! As Team Lead Sales(m/f/d) at Consultport, you’ll be responsible for:
Strategic Sales Leadership
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve organizational goals and revenue targets
Identify business opportunities and drive growth initiatives
Team Management
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 10 sales managers, fostering a high-performance sales culture.
Set clear individual and team performance goals, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback.
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.
Sales Performance
Completion of the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Drive the implementation of sales best practices to improve conversion rates and overall sales effectiveness.
Ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets and KPIs.
Client Relationships
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, up- and cross-selling, ensuring always the highest customer satisfaction.
Innovation
Continuously improve our sales processes, innovate our approaches and drive customer satisfaction
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role managing a sales team.
Proven track record of success in a B2B sales environment.
Hands-on mentality, leading by example.
Strong understanding of sales processes, strategies, and methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and drive execution, without getting lost in details.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Results-oriented with a strong customer focus, consistently overachieving targets.
Professional German & English language skills.
