A technology consulting company is seeking an experienced DevOps & Azure Infrastructure Specialist for a remote contract position. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure infrastructure components while utilizing Terraform for infrastructure as code. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure and DevOps roles, with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure. This contract is for 6 months with an option to extend, offering flexible working hours and competitive pay.

Project background
Our client is looking for an experienced DevOps & Azure Infrastructure Specialist to support the setup and operation of a modern data platform environment. The role focuses on Azure services, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices, with a strong emphasis on reliability, security, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure infrastructure components (Networking, KeyVault, Storage, Cost Monitoring, Disaster Recovery, Service Principals & Managed Identities, etc.)
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Support the setup and operation of data platform environments
- Implement and optimise CI / CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust and secure infrastructure delivery
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in infrastructure and DevOps roles
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, especially Infrastructure services
- Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Hands-on background in building or operating data platforms
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and automation with GitHub Actions
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
