A specialist consultancy is looking for an experienced Python contractor to contribute to a high-impact government-funded energy project. You'll play a key role in building scalable, data-driven solutions that optimise energy usage and drive sustainability efforts.
Developing robust Python solutions for large-scale energy data projects
Working within a consultancy-led team delivering on government contracts
Building and optimising APIs, data pipelines, and backend services
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
Leveraging cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to enhance system scalability
Strong Python engineering experience (Django, Flask, or FastAPI)
Proven background in consultancy-led government projects
Experience working on energy or sustainability-focused products
Solid understanding of data engineering principles and cloud platforms
Strong stakeholder management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
