We are seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Senior Account Manager to strengthen our rapidly growing automotive OEM/OES segment in Spain.
Ideally based in Madrid or in the North of Spain #remote, you will play a key role in accelerating sales and increasing profitability.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing strategic activity plans aligned with segment strategies to identify new opportunities and manage sales pipelines.
- Leading innovative projects to meet and exceed annual budget targets.
- Supporting the deployment of the Key Account plan.
- Interacting with the local sales team and the Automotive Sales Manager based in Italy.
Main Functions:
- Providing fact-based insights to enhance our marketing mix and support the technology/product pipeline.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and local decision-makers of Regional Key Accounts (RKA).
- Managing all tesa resources and competencies to contribute to project success.
- Considering multiple dimensions to build a compelling offer: innovative products, advanced technologies, services, and automation (process integration).
- Building a robust network within tesa, including R&D, Marketing, Customer Solution Centers (focused on testing and automation solutions), and other key functions.
- Managing complex listings, pricing, and contract negotiations with agility and precision.
Successful candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in the automotive or tapes industry.
- High interest and knowledge of advanced technical applications, especially tapes in the automotive sector.
- Fluency in Spanish and English; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
- Strong customer focus and results orientation, with a passion for building long-term partnerships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to network effectively.
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively seek support when needed.
- Adaptability to change and ambiguity.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
- A commitment to automotive advancements and sustainability initiatives.
