tesa is a pioneering multinational company leading in technology, automation, and innovation with a diverse portfolio of over 7,000 adhesive tapes and self-adhesive system solutions.

Our automotive solutions support OEMs and tier suppliers in becoming more sustainable, improving quality, and enhancing efficiency worldwide.

We are seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Senior Account Manager to strengthen our rapidly growing automotive OEM/OES segment in Spain.

Ideally based in Madrid or in the North of Spain #remote, you will play a key role in accelerating sales and increasing profitability.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  1. Developing and executing strategic activity plans aligned with segment strategies to identify new opportunities and manage sales pipelines.
  2. Leading innovative projects to meet and exceed annual budget targets.
  3. Supporting the deployment of the Key Account plan.
  4. Interacting with the local sales team and the Automotive Sales Manager based in Italy.

Main Functions:

  1. Providing fact-based insights to enhance our marketing mix and support the technology/product pipeline.
  2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and local decision-makers of Regional Key Accounts (RKA).
  3. Managing all tesa resources and competencies to contribute to project success.
  4. Considering multiple dimensions to build a compelling offer: innovative products, advanced technologies, services, and automation (process integration).
  5. Building a robust network within tesa, including R&D, Marketing, Customer Solution Centers (focused on testing and automation solutions), and other key functions.
  6. Managing complex listings, pricing, and contract negotiations with agility and precision.

Successful candidates will have:

  1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
  2. At least 5 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in the automotive or tapes industry.
  3. High interest and knowledge of advanced technical applications, especially tapes in the automotive sector.
  4. Fluency in Spanish and English; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
  5. Strong customer focus and results orientation, with a passion for building long-term partnerships.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills to network effectively.
  7. Ability to work autonomously and proactively seek support when needed.
  8. Adaptability to change and ambiguity.
  9. Strong organizational skills to prioritize and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
  10. A commitment to automotive advancements and sustainability initiatives.
  11. A collaborative mindset, valuing technology, innovation, and automation.
  12. Desire to contribute to impactful projects shaping the future of automotive solutions.
  13. Enjoyment of a dynamic, flexible work environment supporting professional growth.
