SOFTGAMES is seeking a creative and skilled Senior Game Designer (Casual Games) - Fully Remote. As a Senior Game Designer at SOFTGAMES you will be part of a small agile team. You will work closely with the Game Producer on new Casual Mobile/Instant Games. You will detail designs, create new levels and systems, and act as a sparring partner to ensure the highest possible quality of fun. This is a broad role with significant ownership; you will support and, at times, lead on design topics from loose conceptual ideas to detailed in‑game economies.

Qualified applicants will be expected to complete a design assignment.

• Take ownership of the details when it comes to all aspects of game design.

• Design levels, economies and systems with support from the Producer.

• Collaborate and iterate closely with your Producer, Artist and Developer.

• Demonstrate creativity and adaptability.

• You are passionate about games and deeply engaged with mobile and casual game trends.

• You enjoy diving into the details.

• You have 5+ years of experience in Mobile Game Design, ideally on live games.

• You have a deep understanding of F2P mechanics, systems design, and player motivation.

• You’re a strong communicator, comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• You enjoy all aspects of game design and bring specialized experience in at least one of the following:

• • Economy Design

  • Systems Design

  • Level Design

• You’re analytical and comfortable working with spreadsheets, KPIs, and balance tuning.

• You take ownership and initiative, driving your designs from concept to implementation.

• Fluent in English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
