Your Role at ZEISS Digital Innovation

We develop innovative health and manufacturing solutions for our clients, leveraging our industry expertise and technological innovations in areas like measurement technology, production control, and automation. Our solutions aim to enhance productivity, reduce rework, and improve quality in manufacturing, aligning with Industry 4.0 standards.

Your role involves ensuring high software quality throughout the development process, supporting test organization activities, executing functional and non-functional tests, and developing automated scripts. You will design CI/CD and staging processes, communicate with clients, and participate in pre-sales activities. Additionally, you will focus on improving the performance of complex products and business processes.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Collaborating with the innovation team to develop testing and automation strategies
2. Leading projects technically and mentoring colleagues
3. Maintaining close contact with clients
4. Participating in pre-sales and up-sales activities

Your Profile

If you are passionate about software quality, we look forward to your application! You should have:

• Extensive experience in test automation for UI (web/desktop), API, and other protocols, with the ability to develop automation solutions
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, TypeScript, Python
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, and test automation setup
• Knowledge of databases, IoT, IIoT, and container technologies
• Excellent communication skills in German and English, capable of discussing technical topics with clients
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Leadership qualities to mentor less experienced colleagues

Additional desirable skills include:

• Test data management experience
• Understanding of DevOps tools like Docker and K8S
• Performance testing experience
• Hardware testing or simulation experience (HIL/SIL)
• Business acumen to communicate effectively with business stakeholders
