We are actively driving the AI transformation as part of BMW Group IT. Our team of strategists, architects, and developers shapes the data and AI platforms of the future and implements pioneering projects with tangible added value for customers and the organization.

• You will take responsibility for specific areas in the design and continuous development of our AI and data platforms – from concept to productive operation.
• Together with experienced colleagues, you will advise business units and IT departments on the development of data and AI strategies and actively contribute to the identification of innovative, scalable use cases.
• You will independently implement parts of lighthouse use cases, develop solution components or architectures, and ensure their integration into operational IT environments.
• You will contribute to linking platform and application development, defining interfaces, and ensuring that new requirements are reflected in our AI and data platforms.
• You will integrate AI components, knowledge graphs, and ontologies into our platforms and ensure data quality, security, and compliance within your area of responsibility.
• You will take part in shaping the future of software development through AI-supported processes, intelligent agents, and automation tools.

• University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a comparable field with a focus on AI or data.
• Initial practical experience of at least 2 years (e.g., through internships, working student positions, or thesis projects) in AI, data platforms, or software development.
• Basic understanding of cloud and platform architectures and an interest in scalable AI and data solutions.
• Curiosity and motivation to learn about data integration, orchestration, and quality, as well as data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Basic understanding of IT security and data protection as well as handling sensitive data.
• Strong analytical skills, creativity, and enthusiasm for innovation.
• Very good German and English language skills.
