When you join as a service technician you get:

• Onboarding and internal training in wind turbine maintenance through the Vestas Academy
• Certification as an electrically skilled worker in accordance with DIN-VDE 0105-100

As a Service Technician SCADA (m/f/d) you and your team will be responsible for the maintenance work on wind turbines (WTGs) following standardized maintenance plans. You will also troubleshoot and commission SCADA equipment (remote monitoring) and perform mechanical or electrical engineering tasks in the SCADA and/or CMS area. You will implement retrofits to enhance turbine efficiency and document all tasks using modern digital tools. Your site presence greatly influences team collaboration, day-to-day operations, and the sustained effectiveness of clean energy initiatives throughout the region.

• A completed vocational qualification in one of the following fields: Electrical engineering, IT or communications electronics, electronics or industrial mechatronics
• Ability to work without supervision and create technical documentation
• Comfortable using Microsoft and iOS systems; SAP experience is a plus
• Willingness to travel within Germany
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights
• A valid Class B or BE driver's license
• Language skills: Fluent German and Basic English
