An established Financial Institution in Germany is seeking an experienced Credit Manager to oversee credit assessment, underwriting, and portfolio risk management for their commercial real estate lending activities. This role involves leading credit evaluations, developing risk policies, and supervising a team. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years in credit risk or lending, strong analytical skills, and a degree or equivalent qualification. The position offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on compliance and strategic objectives.
My client is an established Debt Fund who provides real estate finance finance (development,, investment and bridging). They are branching out into Europe and seeking an experienced candidate based in Germany.
The Credit Manager will be responsible for overseeing credit assessment, underwriting, and portfolio risk management for the company's commercial real estate (CRE) lending activities across the UK and selected European jurisdictions. This role ensures that all lending decisions are robust, compliant with regulatory requirements, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives. The Credit Manager will partner with origination, legal, and senior management teams to support business growth while maintaining prudent credit standards.
