As the Head of Finance at SAP Fioneer, you will be a key driver of our financial and accounting processes.
You will oversee all financial functions, including bookkeeping, accounting, and tax. Working directly with the CFO and closely with the management team, you will provide financial insights and recommendations to support our global business growth and profitability. This high-impact role requires a strategic mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, combined with a hands-on mentality and operational knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance function and manage a team of finance professionals.
- Develop and implement global financial processes to drive business growth.
- Oversee financial reporting processes for 21 entities in 17 countries, according to IFRS and Local GAAP.
- Manage bookkeeping, accounting, and tax compliance.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the management team.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Potential to grow the team in the future; currently overseeing more than 30 people globally.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and HGB (local GAAP).
- Experience in the software or service industry is preferred.
- Proven track record of driving financial strategy and performance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Fluency in English and German.
