Senior Project Manager
Job summary
A growing international company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee design and build projects throughout Germany. You will be responsible for technical and organizational aspects, ensuring compliance with specifications and deadlines. Ideal candidates will have over 7 years of experience in construction management, be fluent in German and English, and be comfortable with extensive travel.
Qualifications
- 7+ years professional experience in construction management and/or project management.
- Comfortable with nationwide travel across Germany.
- Fluent in German (C1) and English (C1).
Responsibilities
- Technical and organizational responsibility for the project.
- Review the fundamentals of the construction project.
- Participate in and moderate negotiations with clients and subcontractors.

For this role, you will be required to travel nationwide throughout Germany. Thus, you must be comfortable and flexible for consistent travel to be on site.
- Technical and organizational responsibility for the project
- Review the fundamentals of the construction project and instruct the construction management accordingly, as well as coordinate and support the construction management in the implementation of the construction project
- The project manager is responsible for the technical and organizational responsibility for the construction management
- Participate in and moderate negotiations and meetings with clients and subcontractors, as well as serve as the first point of contact for the client
- Responsibility for compliance with the contractually agreed specifications and quality standards, as well as all legal requirements
- Responsible for the implementation of all deadlines and adherence to the agreed schedule, as well as for the implementation of all agreed milestones and the organization of final acceptance
- Review of the cost estimate
- Overview of the total costs and ensuring compliance with the budget
- Education : Civil Engineer / Architect degree
- 7+ years professional experience working across construction management and / or project management
- Projects will be nationwide so they need to be comfortable with travelling across Germany
- German C1 and English C1
