A fast-growing international consultancy firm specialising in digital transformation and IT solutions for the life sciences sector is looking to expand its expert team. With operations across multiple continents and a strong presence in pharmaceutical, healthcare, and animal health markets, the company delivers strategic advisory and technical implementation services across S/4HANA, cloud data architecture, and innovative enterprise platforms. The firm is known for its collaborative culture, rapid decision-making, and a strong focus on client success.

We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of SAP solutions for global life sciences clients. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA and related modules (e.g., SD, MM, PP, QM, EWM, FICO), with strong integration and transformation experience across complex enterprise environments. You will play a key role in shaping SAP architecture strategies, driving system harmonisation, and aligning business processes with future-state SAP landscapes.

• Design and architect scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions across various modules based on client requirements
• Lead SAP transformation initiatives, including greenfield, brownfield, and hybrid implementations
• Translate business needs into robust SAP system designs that support compliance, scalability, and performance
• Define solution architecture, integration landscapes, and system interfaces (e.g., CRM, MES, data lakes)
• Oversee technical design, configuration, and development standards across SAP and non-SAP systems
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and system integrators to ensure alignment and quality delivery
• Drive the creation of architecture roadmaps and target operating models
• Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks such as GxP and data privacy requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
• Provide leadership during blueprinting, system design, migration, and testing phases
• Support RFI/RFP processes, vendor evaluations, and business case development for SAP investments

• 8+ years of SAP experience with at least 3 years as a Solution Architect in complex enterprise environments
• Proven experience in delivering full-cycle SAP S/4HANA transformations
• Deep understanding of end-to-end processes in the life sciences sector, including manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and commercial operations
• Strong cross-module knowledge with expertise in at least two core areas (e.g., SD/MM, PP/QM, FICO)
• Experience designing system landscapes including cloud, on-premise, and hybrid models
• Knowledge of integration patterns (e.g., BTP, PI/PO, CPI, APIs) and system harmonisation strategies
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in regulated environments with a solid grasp of validation and compliance practices

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations within pharmaceutical or healthcare organisations
• Familiarity with SAP Advanced Planning, SAP EWM, or SAP ATTP is a plus
• Understanding of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and cloud services (Azure, AWS)
• Background in consulting or advisory roles within global transformation programs
• Knowledge of CSV (Computer System Validation), GxP, or SAP GRC
