As a product manager / senior product manager for Ready Connect products, you will define and execute highly differentiated products and services from concept to launch by acting as a glue between the business and technology functions within the organization. Best products come to life in a collaborative environment. Therefore, you will work in a fast-paced work environment with business units, innovation and technology teams, supply chain, finance, sales, legal, marketing, UI / UX designers, etc. to bring your product vision to reality.

While this is an individual contributor position, you will be expected to lead with influence and work with a cross-functional team members drawn from all relevant functions within the business. This team will be empowered and aligned around company objectives.

• Conduct market intelligence and assess competitive positioning by comparing HARMAN’s portfolio to competitors' products and ecosystems.
• Development of roadmaps based upon market research, competition analysis, technology trends etc
• Conduct global and regional market and technology assessment to frame problem statements, define market requirements and determine opportunities for investments
• Design and deploy global GTM efforts across the end-to-end customer journey.
• Key platform / product lifecycle artifact management : MRD, PRD, Concept Approval, Business Case
• Drive products from concept to launch by acting as a bridge between technical feasibility, customer desirability, and business viability. Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, legal, UX on product execution. Own definition and execution of feature enhancements to existing product roadmaps.
• Develop market and product requirements with a rolling 3-5-year iterative product and feature roadmap
• Support test in market using structured frameworks and quick iterations
• Support RFQ / RFI teams to drive product pursuit pipelines
• Support the definition of product positioning- features and roadmap / main releases, support business plans including pricing, revenue, and status dashboard, support the partnership with Product Marketing on value proposition, product positioning and sales enablement
• Co-create go to market strategies and effective sales product pitches in close collaboration with product marketing and sales

• Bachelor’s Degree with 15+ years of experience defining building, and shipping technical products
• Well versed in product management tools and frameworks, HW / SW / Platform development processes, and understanding of industrialization.
• Experience creating compelling and differentiated product propositions based on market needs, customer segments, and technical feasibility, aligned to an overarching product strategy.
• Experience in all aspects of the product lifecycle, ensuring the program milestones happen on time, technologies launch successfully, and product evolution strategies are in place to maximize ROI.
• Excellent communication, able to turn complex ideas into universally understandable narrative, product evangelist.
• Critical thinking, analytical, and prioritization skills

• MBA with Master’s in Engineering or Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in Telematics and Connectivity domains
• Automotive industry relevant experience
• Experience working in a matrix, global org with multiple functions such as R&D, UX / UI, Sales, Finance, Mktg, Legal, Supply chain, etc.
• B2B and B2C / B2B2C launch experience

• Be willing to travel up to 25%, domestic and international travel
• Be willing to work in an [office, manufacturing facility, client-site] OR This role is eligible to work remotely full-time with occasional trips into the X office location required this could be on 24-hour notice)
• US Only - Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
