YOUR TASKS
- Develop innovative E/E system concepts and architectures for integration with mechatronic and mechanical modules.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (mechanical, design, software, manufacturing and sales) to define requirements and feasible implementation paths by providing technical expertise and innovation-driven recommendations.
- Lead ideation sessions and apply structured innovative methods to generate new technological solutions aligned with business goals.
- Lead hardware system design and development projects focused on innovative solutions
- Create early prototypes, simulations, or feasibility models to validate system-level concepts - new hardware concepts, including electronic components & embedded systems.
- Translate innovation outcomes into clear functional specifications and technical documentation for product development teams.
- Support the patenting process by identifying protectable ideas and preparing invention disclosures.
- Understand market trends, emerging technologies, and customers’ needs to identify innovation opportunities in E/E systems.
- Document design decisions, test results, and technical information for development and manufacturing handoff.
YOUR QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree - B.S. from University in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (BSEE); Master’s Degree (MSEE) is preferred but not mandatory.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in developing automotive electronics-based devices in a team environment.
- Proven track record in concept development and integration of E/E solutions into mechanical systems.
- Demonstrated creativity and ability to transform abstract ideas into tangible prototypes.
- Deep understanding of system architecture, sensor/actuator integration, embedded electronics, and control strategies.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and technical documentation skills
- Familiar with innovation methodologies (e.g., Design Thinking, Lean Innovation).
- Excellent creative problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficient language skills in English is a must. German would be a plus.
