The Territory Sales Manager Germany (d/f/m) is responsible for driving revenue growth across key regions, building strategic customer relationships, and executing sales initiatives that directly contribute to the success of the EMEA organization.

This position is part of the EMEA Sales Team based in Germany and will operate remotely, covering the regions of Berlin, Hamburg, and Amsterdam.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage assigned accounts strategically in order to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets

  • Research and understand territory growth opportunities for developing an effective business plan and sales strategy

  • Build in-depth knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools and apply these skills consistently to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, build opportunity pipeline, and make business decisions

  • Maintain regular and informative communications with all other team members, including cross-functional collaboration with Product Managers, Application Scientists, Inside Sales, etc.

Essential requirements
  • Master’s degree in a Life Science field or Bachelor’s degree with relevant Life Sciences

  • Several years of successful sales experience with a proven track record

  • Residing in the assigned region and extensive familiarity with existing academic, corporate, and government accounts in the region

  • Basic genomics knowledge; Applications experience within NGS, qPCR, cloning, mutagenesis, etc. and working knowledge of accounts in assigned territory preferred

  • Fluently German and English language skills

Travel, Driver and Physical/Environment Requirements
  • Up to 50% of the working time

  • The candidate must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Preferred additional experience
  • Outstanding prospecting, territory management, lead management, negotiation and closing skills. Ability to coach less senior team members as part of their development
