A leading cloud hosting company in Munich is seeking a Senior SEO Manager to oversee its organic growth strategy, focusing on AI-driven search optimizations and technical SEO. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in SEO, solid technical skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly. This role offers flexibility in working conditions, with remote, hybrid, or on-site options, and many opportunities for professional development.
We are looking for a full-time, permanent Senior SEO Manager (AI Search & Organic Growth) (all genders) to join us as soon as possible. At Contabo we live a remote-first culture – but you decide whether you want to work fully remotely, hybrid, or on-site at one of our offices, depending on your location.
SEO is changing – and you’ll be right at the center of it. As a Senior SEO & AI Search Marketer, you will take ownership of Contabo’s entire organic growth strategy: from classic SEO and technical optimization to AI-driven search strategies (GEO). Your mission: making Contabo visible everywhere – in Google blue links, AI-generated results, and in the minds of our target audiences.
In your first months, you will audit our current SEO performance and presence in AI-driven search engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini. You will develop a strategy that combines E-E-A-T with the requirements of new search environments, and set up monitoring frameworks and AI rank-tracking tools to measure visibility and brand sentiment.
In the medium term, you will build scalable content programs, run Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) experiments, and establish processes that push Contabo forward in both AI answers and organic rankings. You’ll leverage automation tools like n8n or Make, set up dashboards with GA4 and Looker, and share your insights with all relevant stakeholders.
In the long run, you will establish Contabo as a leading player in SEO & AI Search: with clear entity signals, a solid technical foundation, visible expertise, and reusable playbooks for international markets. In short: you will build an organic growth engine that sustainably drives traffic, sign-ups, and trust – lowering our CAC and fueling our continued growth.
