Sales Area Manager - Premium Gastronomy (M/F/D)

Directly reporting to the Country Manager, you will join a company that has been established for over 30 years in DACH region as a Sales Area Manager. Your primary mission is to maintain a leading position in the premium market.

You will need to:

  • Grow our market share in your geographical area through the prospecting of new accounts (both direct and indirect) and by developing the potential of our existing distributor network.
  • Act as a true ambassador for our premium quality products to an expert clientele, such as chefs, as well as dedicated distributors, emphasizing differentiation (premium products) and prescription.
  • Define your strategy with the support of your manager and the marketing department, and monitor the achievement of agreed objectives.
  • Develop the sales potential in your area and contribute to the growth of over 40 existing distributor client accounts.
  • Accelerate the resale of products to relevant end users.
  • To achieve this, design and execute impactful commercial, marketing, and technical action plans.
  • Be proactive in the design of your action plans, autonomous in their implementation, and able to easily report back to your management.

Holding a degree in business studies or being passionate about high gastronomy, your background demonstrates solid expertise in sales, prescription, and distribution of similar premium categorized products, such as chocolate and spirits, among others. You have at least five years of recognized experience in business development in a similar position. Experience in the gastronomy field would be an additional asset. You have a well-established network of contacts among key accounts and specialized distributors, having built and developed strong, trusting relationships with culinary professionals, such as pastry chefs. Your natural leadership allows you to act on the ground as a true brand ambassador, where you have deepened your consulting skills, proactively contributing to the growth of the brand you represent autonomously. You demonstrate agility, dynamism, and team spirit, eager to participate in collective success. Your natural curiosity and listening skills enable you to contribute to our product innovation through your field feedback. Finally, you are agile and capable of navigating easily within a multicultural, human-sized organization, where remote management is an integral part of your work that does not hinder your individual or collective performance.
