Plant Director Responsibilities:

• Manage, plan, and coordinate the Creilshain Ceramic Plant’s operations, including production, financial reporting, customer agreements, and HR policies to achieve strategic goals.
• Set and oversee operational goals for managers and employees, initiate organizational changes, verify and implement new procedures, and manage enterprise systems.
• Coordinate activities and supervise performance across organizational units.
• Support and develop management staff and direct employees.
• Provide resources for efficient process implementation aligned with the quality management system.

This onsite position is part of the global operations organization, located in Crailsheim, Germany.

In this role, you will:

• Align site goals with global targets.
• Manage plant processes, projects, and execution, collaborating with the site team and across the EMEA region and globally.
• Coordinate product settings for make-to-order and stock, working closely with the supply chain.
• Collaborate with the Business Unit team for Energy +.
• Set SMART goals for teams and align them across departments.

Minimum Requirements:

• University degree, preferably in Engineering; MBA or Economics accepted with managerial experience.
• At least 5 years in a managerial role within an international production company.
• Experience in production enterprise management and project leadership.
• Advanced English skills.
• 5+ years working with ERP systems based on MRP.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the global marketplace, ideally in filtration and separation processes.
• Experience in developing business strategies and leading strategic initiatives.
• Proven track record of improving KPIs, on-time delivery, lead time reduction, cost and inventory management, and supplier development.
• Leadership qualities, resilience under stress, strong communication skills, basic knowledge of ISO and QSR norms, and experience with Lean Manufacturing.
