Office Manager – Fintech company in Düsseldorf

Job Type: Contract - 12 - 15 months (maternity contract) • Location: Düsseldorf, Germany (on-site, with remote oversight of Frankfurt & Zurich offices) • Salary: €48,000 per annum • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (40 hours/week) • Languages Required: Fluent German and English • Start Date: ASAP

A rapidly growing fintech company with a strong commercial focus is seeking an experienced and proactive Office Manager to join their team in Düsseldorf. The company is expanding internationally, with new offices opening across multiple regions, and this role will play a key part in supporting that growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact in a busy, client-facing office environment
  • Organise internal and client-facing events, supporting a high-performing sales team
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding of employees
  • Ensure health & safety and compliance protocols are followed
  • Provide day-to-day hospitality and administrative support to ensure a smooth office operation
  • Remotely manage office operations for two additional sites in Frankfurt and Zurich
  • Support any office relocation or set-up activities as needed
Key Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an office management or similar administrative role
  • Background in hospitality or front-of-house (e.g. hotel or reception experience) preferred
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and office vendors
  • Able to handle a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Fluent in both German and English (spoken and written)
  • Confident using modern office software and tools
