What you can expect :
- Performing and managing various general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, telecommunications, heating, carpentry and decorating work
- Carrying out basic repair and maintenance work
- Installing, inspecting and troubleshooting equipment, appliances and systems
- Coordinating and supervising contractors and external service providers to ensure they work in line with our service promises to guests
- Performing tasks and providing services with the utmost discretion, with the aim of minimising disruption and inconvenience to guests and visitors
- Assisting with the maintenance of records and daily logs of repairs and maintenance of equipment and appliances
- Compliance with Accor guidelines
- Application of hotel safety regulations (in the event of fire, etc.)
- Commitment to the hotel's obligations in terms of sustainable hospitality (energy saving, recycling, waste separation, etc.)
- Actively contributing to the safety of people and property (ensuring that emergency exits remain clear, etc.)
- Taking responsibility for identifying opportunities for improvement within the work area, including risk awareness
- Participating in appropriate training to expand expertise in the relevant work area
Qualifications
What you bring to the table :
- Completed training in a skilled trade or equivalent work experience
- Experience in HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning)
- System affinity
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Social and intercultural competence
- Problem-solving skills and a hands‑on mentality
- Ability to work in a team
- Strong service orientation towards our international guests
- Good language skills in German and English
