The Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive M&A Integration Project Manager to support and drive Mode Mobile’s mergers and acquisitions activity from pipeline management to post-acquisition integration. This role will support strategic growth initiatives by managing M&A administration, coordinating due diligence, maintaining our target tracking system, and leading cross-functional integration efforts. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-intensive environment and is excited to help build the foundation of Mode Mobile’s M&A capability.
What You’ll Do
- M&A Pipeline Support (Short-Term)
- Build and maintain a structured M&A database tracker with key data points on all acquisition targets.
- Organize and centralize due diligence materials for each target, including financial, legal, technical, and operational documents.
- Collaborate with the CFO and team to evaluate key metrics for each potential acquisition (e.g., user growth, revenue, retention, CAC/LTV, ROAS).
- Track and manage follow-ups and communications with acquisition targets, coordinating internally and externally to ensure timely next steps.
- Support the development of Letters of Intent (LOIs) for selected targets, compiling information and drafting sections in collaboration with legal and finance.
- Facilitate the transfer of developer accounts on Google Play and Apple App Store post-acquisition, ensuring proper documentation and access control.
- Assist with the setup of ad monetization accounts (e.g., AdMob, AppLovin, Meta, etc.) for newly acquired apps.
- Integration Management (Ongoing / Long-Term)
- Create and manage detailed post-merger integration plans across key functions (HR, finance, engineering, legal, product, marketing).
- Drive integration project timelines, identify risks, manage dependencies, and ensure accountability across stakeholders.
- Support the onboarding of acquired teams or contractors, ensuring alignment with Mode Mobile’s systems, values, and goals.
- Track integration KPIs, milestones, and lessons learned to improve future acquisition playbooks.
- Coordinate with product and engineering to consolidate data systems, platforms, or infrastructure post-acquisition where needed.
- Maintain a central source of truth for all integration activities, reporting progress regularly to the CFO and executive team.
- Strategic Contribution
- Recommend tools and workflows to streamline M&A processes (e.g., CRM for targets, document management systems, tracking templates).
- Help define and institutionalize repeatable playbooks and templates for evaluating, acquiring, and integrating mobile app businesses.
- Monitor market trends and competitor acquisitions for insights and benchmarks.
What You Bring to the Team
- Proven experience in project management, operations, or M&A support (tech, mobile, or high-growth startup environments preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects and timelines.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel), project management tools (e.g., Asana, Notion, Airtable), and virtual collaboration platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently and handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Prior experience supporting M&A, integration, or startup deal execution.
- Prior experience in B2C Apps and/or ad-centric business models is a strong plus.
