Who We Are

The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley, we are starting our own battery cell production and ramping up our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The operations team handles all activities related to battery cell manufacturing, including planning, constructing, and rolling out new battery cell factories. Additionally, planning and implementing operational functions such as logistics, quality, production, and plant management are key elements within our corporate responsibilities.

Your Role And Key Responsibilities

1. Developing and managing a global strategy for recycling and monetizing production scrap across standardized factory blocks.
2. Developing and implementing methods, processes, standards, and knowledge exchange regarding recycling within PowerCo and worldwide.
3. Proposing, developing, presenting, and coordinating planning concepts in the field of battery recycling for PowerCo factories, ensuring their implementation until handover to operators.
4. Creating content and implementing global strategic initiatives in recycling (e.g., partnerships, technology development, benchmarking) in collaboration with relevant specialist functions within the VW Group.
5. Identifying global and strategically relevant markets, technologies, and developments in recycling, considering various interests and framework conditions, and deriving strategic directions to ensure technological relevance and financial success.
