In addition to technical degree, you should have a few years of BD and/or technical sales under your belt. We will want to hear about your previous experiences in how you've won over new and returning customers with your tenacity, persistence, convincing communications and technical expertise. These skills will be needed at Dcubed as you will be contacting CTOs, Principal Engineers, Engineering Managers and business partners.

You will be the backbone of our pipeline, ensuring we have hot leads turning into business outcome. Your everyday work will consist of researching, contacting, and following up with businesses both small and large to develop relationships and expand Dcubed’s customers’ network, a truly key role in shaping the trajectory of the company's future. You will also be the face of Dcubed at conferences, events, and customer sites.

You will learn the ins and outs of our patented space tech which enables our customers to get to space faster, better and cheaper. Here is what you bring to the table

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in an engineering field
  • 2+ years of technical engineering
  • 2+ years of business or technical sales experience
  • Solid organization, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Exceptional communication abilities and interpersonal skills
  • You have a strong urgency to complete tasks and have a measurable impact on the business
  • You show a strong bias for action combined with a natural inclination to take the initiative and own the result
  • Pay close attention to detail; strive for excellence when it matters
  • Willingness to travel for business trips/conferences/events
  • Fluent in English is a requirement for our diverse team environment, German is a bonus
  • Residence and work permit in Germany

Nice-to-haves:

  • A large network of space contacts, preferably from NewSpace technology/hardware companies
  • CRM experience (preferably with Hubspot)

In this role, your compensation model is base + commission. Your direct reporting line will be to the Senior Sales and BD Manager.

We provide a hybrid work model along with flexible working hours, empowering you as the owner of your time management. Remote work is offered, but willingness to work from our Munich office is appreciated.
