We combine a science-driven investment strategy with deep sector expertise and a powerful network of industry leaders, scientists, and investors. Together with ambitious teams, we accelerate growth across industries – from food to industrial solutions – and drive impact at a global scale. At ECBF, you will have the opportunity to contribute to investment decisions that advance an economy, delivering growth, impact, and resilience. Join our team and help us unite impact and returns – creating lasting value for portfolio companies, LPs, and society.

Position

  • You preferably have 2–3 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, consulting, or investment banking, and/or hold an MBA with exposure to venture investing.
  • A STEM background (natural sciences, chemistry, life sciences, engineering) is an advantage, though not required. If you do not have this background, you should show motivation and capability to quickly learn about complex themes in the bioeconomy.
  • You combine sound judgment with a willingness to challenge assumptions and learn from others, enabling both personal growth and team success.
  • You are used to working independently, taking initiative, and thriving in a collaborative environment.
  • Fluent English is a must; an additional European language is a strong plus.
  • You are highly proficient with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and can use them with ease.
