Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic HR Consultant to support our DACH organization. You will serve as the point of contact for Mitel's managers and employees, providing counsel, coaching, and support on HR fundamentals, workforce analysis, and solutions. Working with the Strategic P&C Business Partners and Centers of Excellence, the People and Culture Manager will help develop and deliver HR solutions that meet Mitel's talent needs. This role is critical in executing responsive HR support, driving HR excellence, and improving processes.

Responsibilities :
  • Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application of policies and practices, promoting an ethical and compliant work environment.
  • Review, develop, and maintain policies, benefits, contracts, and systems; promote employee and manager self-service models.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of standards and legislation related to employee management, reducing legal risks and ensuring compliance.
  • Partner effectively with global People & Culture teams, business leaders, and functional teams.
  • Ensure HRIS system (WorkDay) and other HR systems are accurate, processed correctly, and audited regularly for data integrity.
  • Manage personnel and organizational tasks, including onboarding, offboarding, contract administration, and legal compliance.
  • Develop and refine workflows, policies, and systems to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
  • Lead specific HR projects and handle special cases such as occupational safety, attendance management, and legal employee relations issues.
Requirements :
  • Several years of experience as an HR generalist.
  • Good knowledge of labor, income tax, and social security laws in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria; experience in metall tariff organizations in Germany is advantageous.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Strong communication skills and experience negotiating with Works Councils.
  • Confident, customer-oriented, proactive, and motivated with a solution-focused approach.
  • Experience in global matrix organizations is a plus.
  • Experience in the IT/Tech/Telecoms industry and accustomed to fast-paced, changing environments.
  • Responsive, action-oriented, and willing to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
