Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to coach and develop them as leaders of people. Provide sounding board for decision making and process thinking.
- Build business and customer understanding.
- Partner across all areas of HR to deliver global and local initiatives enhancing business performance
- Coach and Mentor Leaders in hiring decisions, remuneration decisions, people development and leadership team development
- Effectively manage the workforce within the boundaries of legal, cultural and ethical requirements
- Execute on talent management initiatives driven globally including but not limited to; employee engagement survey, performance management, succession planning, talent development and performance improvement initiatives
- Enhance leadership skills across the organization through identification of skill gaps, training and follow up
- Take a lead role in the business in creating an environment, which facilitates the growth and development of employees in line with the pace of, cultural and organizational change required
- Identify training/development needs and establish/facilitate training/development programs to support the outputs from the performance reviews and the development of strategic competences – e.g. sales training
- Ensure that sound HR practice is in place in your area of responsibility and contributes to the development of an environment of fairness and consistency in terms of the manner in which employees are treated.
- Act as the champion of cultural change within your area of responsibility and strengthen employee communication and consultation channels within the business, including the roll-out of group communication programs
Requirements:
- Min. 10 years experience as HR business partner in an internationally operating commercial company
- Experience in a cross-border HR role managing different countries/cultures
- Excellent knowledge of German labor law
- Solid experience with working with the works council
- Experienced in recruiting commercial profiles, using assessment reports
- Experience with implementing global processes in the region, taking local culture into account
- Excellent coaching skills
