The Strategy & Corporate Development team’s mission is to facilitate the development and execution of innovative strategies that will help GetYourGuide harness its competitive advantage. We have a seat at the table and are able to navigate between big picture views and an analytical mindset to enable our Management team to make optimal decisions to achieve our company\'s mission.

Based in the Berlin headquarters and reporting to the Director of Strategy & Corporate Development, you will lead the Corporate Development team and partner closely with Finance, other functional teams, and senior stakeholders across the organization. You will play a pivotal role in driving transformative initiatives, shaping the company’s strategic direction, and ensuring alignment with the long-term vision and goals of GetYourGuide.

Your mission:

• Support the strategy development through financial and non-financial analyses around strategic options and scenarios
• Lead potential M&A initiatives including M&A strategy framework, target identification and assessment, diligence, negotiation, process management and execution
• Manage fundraising rounds including sizing capital requirements and timing, preparing investor materials, managing due diligence requests, supporting negotiations
• Develop trusted relationships within GetYourGuide and externally, ensuring stakeholder engagement and alignment across projects.
• Support relationships management and communication with investors, shareholders, and board members
• Elevate the capabilities of your team and other functions through expertise, high-quality standards, and impactful insights.

Your toolkit:

• 8+ years relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, corporate development or private equity.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills - comfortable navigating ambiguity and simplifying complexity for others.
• Deep technical expertise in corporate finance, financial analysis, and financial modeling with the ability to connect the dots towards strategic topics.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building trusted relationships and driving alignment.
• Ability to manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on long-term goals and stability.
• A proactive, structured, detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Fluency in English is essential; fluency in German is a plus.
