Your Responsibilities
Contract Management
- Develop, manage, and oversee the full lifecycle of IT contracts, from initial requirements and RFP support to execution, renewal, and termination.
- Collaborate with respective Vendor Management to ensure that contract obligations are met and performance metrics are tracked and reported regularly.
- Ensure that all IT contracts comply with internal policies, legal regulations, and audit standards. Implement governance frameworks for ongoing contract performance monitoring.
- Gather data to monitor overall contract performance; identify any risks or opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain contract records, renewal calendars, and dashboards for executive reporting and risk oversight.
- Align with Vendor Management and Procurement identifying opportunities for cost reduction and value generation across the IT contract portfolio through benchmarking, consolidation, and demand management.
- Assist Vendor Management in strategic contract negotiations with vendors to secure optimal terms in areas such as pricing, SLAs, performance metrics, compliance, IP, and risk mitigation and lead operational contract change negotiations
Supplier Relationship Management
- Support with the administration required in managing commercial relationships, as well as running regular commercial reviews with suppliers.
- Gather and organize information needed to develop detailed supplier budgets; work closely with the technical leads to support the development of supplier budgets.
- Help forecast, track, and manage contract spend, while developing a good understanding of supplier cost drivers and opportunities.
- Work closely with IT Assurance to develop a good understanding of supplier controls needed, support with the implementation of controls
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with legal, procurement, IT, finance, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of contracts with organizational priorities and risk tolerance.
Your qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Law, Business & Law, or a related field (or equivalent and related experience preferred).
- 4+ years' experience in IT contract management, procurement, or vendor management.
- Proven experience negotiating IT contracts (e.g., SaaS, ERP, cloud services)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Knowledge of legal and commercial terms in IT agreements
- Knowledge of financials and performance KPIs.
- Experience in analyzing large data sets.
- Proficiency in contract management tools and systems (e.g., Icertis, Ariba, Coupa)
Nice to have:
- Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, or public sector
- Certification in contract management (e.g., IACCM/WorldCC, NCMA)
- Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks
