The company is a highly successful , and profitable, specialist spare‑parts business and acts as a purchasing " hub" for clients across the world who are looking for specific components such as drives / sensors / Plc's / HMI's and other equipment . The spare‑parts are sourced globally and the spare parts are for a variety of industries. The business employs about 100 staff globally and this office is located close to Hamburg in Germany . In this role you will join an international team that organise technical products globally for dispatch. The role is busy and dynamic. It is also fully office based .

Role

You will join the operations team. This role is responsible for receiving incoming goods, verifying their accuracy and condition, preparing outgoing shipments, and coordinating with carriers (such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc.) to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers.

Duties

• Receive incoming shipments from suppliers and carriers.
• Unpack goods carefully and verify quantities, descriptions, and quality against purchase orders and shipping documents.
• Report and document discrepancies, damages, or missing items.
• Accurately record incoming goods in the inventory management system.
• Maintain organized storage areas and ensure proper labeling of products.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Double‑check orders for accuracy before dispatch.
• Create and affix shipping labels, invoices, and necessary documentation.
• Coordinate pickups with carriers (DHL, FedEx, UPS, local couriers, etc.).
• General Warehouse Duties

Requirements

• Fluent German (essential)
• Ideally experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or shipping / receiving
• Familiarity with carriers such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, and online shipping platforms.
• Ability to lift and move packages (weight may vary).
