This role is for an engineer who is passionate about building sophisticated, performant, and scalable backend systems for AI-powered design tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the backend of the code generation platform, building sophisticated, performant, and scalable backend systems for AI-powered design tools.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and ship features that have a meaningful impact from day one.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of impactful work at companies known for sophisticated backend engineering, major contributions to notable open-source projects, or a seriously impressive portfolio of complex backend builds.
• Experience with chat applications, reliable streaming, headless browser automation (Puppeteer/Chromium), and managing complex project state is highly desirable.
• Obsessed with performance, reliability, and scalability, and committed to hard startup work without compromising on quality and shipping fast.
