Job description
Tasks
- Carry out electrical maintenance, repair and troubleshooting work on test rigs to ensure operational safety
- Design, implement and continuously modify electrical systems for new and existing test facilities
- Carry out electrical adaptations and system upgrades according to technical project requirements
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety guidelines and electrical standards during implementation
- Work closely with engineering teams to develop innovative electrical concepts for complex test facilities
- Support installation, calibration and regular maintenance of electrical components and cabling
Requirements
- Completed studies in electrical engineering or aerospace engineering with a degree as a technician or specialist
- Several years of professional experience in electrical manufacturing and system assembly, ideally in the aviation environment
- Sound knowledge of electrical systems, circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and applicable safety standards, wiring diagrams and applicable safety standards
- Confident handling of electrical standards and regulations to ensure standard-compliant system operation and experience in the field of helicopter architecture and avionics systems desirable
- Expertise in the development and maintenance of electrical systems within a test environment advantageous
- Familiarity with automation systems, control panels and industrial machinery required
- Business fluent in English (min. C1 level), knowledge of German or French an advantage
- An existing, unrestricted work permit for the EU (not a student visa) is mandatory
