Join us as an Electrical Engineer Aircraft Systems Configurationat our client Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and documenting electrical installations for various Airbus aircraft types – from cable harnesses to complex system architectures. If you're just as confident using digital tools as you are with CATIA V5, this is your stage.
The gross annual salary is between € 73,000 and a maximum of € 76,000, depending on qualifications.Please note that we can only consider candidates who hold a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (no student visa).
Job description
Tasks
- Preparation of design documentation and technical drawings for electrical system installations
- Development of cable harness designs – from architecture and detailing to manufacturing and in-service support
- Coordination of engineering service providers and subcontractors throughout the entire design process
- Creation and maintenance of manufacturing documentation, including change documentation (TRS)
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable technical standards and regulations
- Coordination with other departments and systems (including Digital Mockups – DMU)
- Participation in standardization, qualification and continuous improvement processes
Requirements
- Completed training as a state-certified technician / business administrator in electrical engineering or a degree in engineering
- Long-standing professional experience in engineering, design, electrical engineering, system installation, configuration management and change management
- In-depth hands-on experience with CATIA V5, VPM and Zamiz; knowledge of Trend and Taksy is an advantage
- 3D design skills required
- Business-fluent English skills (at least C1) and advanced German skills (at least B2)
A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
