Overview

Our client is one of the fastest growing FinTechs in the global market undergoing international expansion. They are seeking a compliance professional in Frankfurt with experience in outsourcing management. As a compliance manager you will play a key role in supporting strategic compliance initiatives and ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations across the business. This role combines regulatory advisory, governance, and oversight responsibilities, offering broad exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to grow into a recognized compliance expert.

Your Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design, review, and ongoing development of the company’s compliance strategy and framework
  • Draft, update, and implement compliance manuals, policies, and internal guidelines
  • Maintain and regularly review compliance-related documentation and records
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments at both German and EU level, and assess their potential impact on the business
  • Oversee compliance with prudential and conduct regulations, providing guidance where required
  • Design and deliver training sessions to raise awareness of compliance requirements among employees
  • Support the governance and oversight of outsourced activities, in line with internal outsourcing policies and regulatory expectations
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and the supervisory board on compliance matters
  • Actively pursue professional development and certifications (e.g., ACAMS, CISI) to enhance expertise in compliance
Your Profile
  • Degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, consultancy, internal audit, or financial supervision
  • Strong working knowledge of German and European regulatory frameworks (e.g., MaComp, MaRisk, MiFID II, MiFIR, MAR, WpHG)
  • Solid data and reporting skills (e.g., pivot tables, statistical methods, database analysis)
  • Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
