Description

Matterport is looking for a Sales Account Executive to join an ambitious, enthusiastic, and performance‑driven team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled sales professional to be on the front line with clients, selling solutions and services across AEC, Commercial Real Estate, Retail, Facilities Management, and Hospitality to medium‑to‑large customers in the DACH region. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced environment and demonstrate a history of winning and exceeding targets.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver and exceed quarterly targets for SaaS and services through regular face‑to‑face and online meetings.
  • Focus on driving new sales in the territory while growing selected existing accounts (New Business role).
  • Generate pipeline by prospecting existing and new targets, creating at least 50% of the own pipeline.
  • Deliver sales, technical presentations, and demos to new and existing customers via web and on‑site presentations, including the Pro 3D camera.
  • Maintain strong product acumen, understanding the Matterport value proposition and benefits.
  • Operate territory efficiently by forecasting weekly, monthly, and quarterly numbers accurately.
  • Apply sales tools such as SFDC, Groove, Highspot, and LinkedIn effectively.
  • Collaborate across Services, Customer Success, Support, and Pre‑Sales to ensure the right plan to support customers.
  • Attend sales meetings and prepare presentations.
  • Attend regional events, networking, and customer events to drive business and relationships.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Track record of success through multiple business cycles at prior employers.
  • Proven record in sales across the region with demonstrable SaaS experience, including closing multiple SaaS multi‑year deals.
  • Ability to lead 10–12 customer meetings per week effectively.
  • Value‑based solution selling using ROI and the MEDDPICC methodology across mid‑market to enterprise deals.
  • Ability to create and build pipeline for a mid‑range sales cycle that closes within 4–9 months.
  • History of achieving 100% sales quotas (SaaS, ACV).
  • Experience in the SaaS technology space serving clients in Commercial or Residential Real Estate, Facilities Management, Manufacturing, Travel & Hospitality, or Construction.
  • Resilient, driven team player.
  • Fluent in German; business‑level spoken and written English.
