A leading educational institution in Toronto is seeking an Associate Professor for the Loretta Rogers Research Chair in Cybersecurity Analytics. Located in downtown Toronto, the largest and most culturally diverse city in Canada and on the territory of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee and the Wendat Peoples, the School of Information Technology Management in the Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) invites applications for the Loretta Rogers Research Chair in Cybersecurity Analytics position at the rank of Associate Professor effective July 1, 2026 subject to final budgetary approval.
Established in 2007, and made possible through a significant leadership gift from the Rogers family, the Loretta Rogers Research Chair Program aims to attract outstanding scholars to advance and enrich innovative and societally relevant research and learning experiences at TRSM.
We are seeking an eminent scholar to join our research and innovation environment, bringing experience and a deep understanding of the theories, practices, techniques, tools and issues surrounding cybersecurity and analytics. The successful candidate will integrate research interests in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, machine learning, analytics, as well as other relevant fields.
The successful candidate will engage in a combination of teaching, scholarly research or creative activity and service duties while maintaining an inclusive, equitable, and collegial work environment across all activities. Teaching duties will entail teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels, supervision of students, and/or curriculum development. The successful candidate will pursue a strong, innovative and internationally recognized research program that is externally funded and that produces cutting‑edge, high quality results published in highly ranked journals.

Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Information Systems or a closely related field, and hold a tenured position at a recognized institution at the Associate Professor rank by the appointment date.
