A local transport company in Ottawa is looking for a truck driver to operate vehicles for transporting goods. Responsibilities include loading and unloading, vehicle inspections, and maintenance. A DZ class license is required, and no prior experience is necessary as training will be provided. The position offers permanent employment and requires 30 hours of work per week.

- Inspect vehicle and perform maintenance.
- Record cargo information and fuel consumption.

- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Load and unload goods
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- DZ class license
- Will train
