Job summary
A local construction company in Whitchurch-Stouffville is looking for a laborer to assist with various tasks at construction sites. Responsibilities include loading and transporting materials, mixing concrete, and assisting in building structures. Candidates should be physically capable of handling up to 30 lbs and must work on-site as there's no option for remote work. Experience in construction is preferred, and physical presence is mandatory.
Qualifications
- Must be able to handle weight up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
- Experience in a construction setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload and transport construction materials.
- Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
- Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
- Assist in framing houses and erecting walls.
Languages: English
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma.
7 months to less than 1 year
On site. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
- Construction site
- Load, unload and transport construction materials
