Job summary
A Canadian aviation company seeks a qualified pilot for aerial survey flights using a Piper Navajo. Applicants must have a minimum of 1000 flight hours and hold a Canadian Commercial or ATPL license, along with a valid medical certificate and passport. Responsibilities

- Support flight operations complying with Canadian regulations.
- Conduct risk analyses and SMS reviews for continuous improvement.
- Complete all required documentation timely.

- Minimum 1000 hrs total time
- Canadian Commercial or ATPL
- Valid Cat 1 Medical
- Instrument Rating
- 2 Crew and Single Pilot IFR Experience
- Valid Radio Telephone Operators Certificate from Industry Canada
- Valid Canadian Passport
- Navajo experience – considered an asset
- Previous airborne survey experience – considered an asset
- Be dexterous and occasionally lift a maximum of 75 lbs
- Preference will be given to local applicants (Calgary area)
- Preference will be given to applicants with multi‑engine experience
- Must hold Transport Canada Licence, Medical
- Must hold a valid Canadian Passport

- Supporting the day‑to‑day flight operations in a manner that meets or exceeds service expectations of the client while ensuring compliance with Canadian Air Regulations and IAGSA
- Conducting risk analyses and SMS reviews for flight operations with a focus on continuous improvement
- Completing all required documentation in a timely manner, including flight logs, tracking sheets, SMS reports and required financial reports
- Contributing positively to the culture, growth, and strategic direction of the company
Due to the nature of our business, the successful candidates must be flexible with the willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. Our home base is Calgary/Springbank (CYBW) but the majority of our work is done on a rotational basis in the field all over North America.
- Competitive salary ($60,000 starting with regular increases)
- Daily meal allowance when on field rotations ($111.95 plus $17.30 for incidental expenses)

- Pilots can expect 400-600 hours a year
- 20 Vacation days per calendar year (prorated from start date for calendar year)
- Company paid conversion to FAA Airman Commercial Certificate with flow to Learjet 35/36 program with company needs
