Position Summary

Are you a registered Respiratory Therapist looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Respiratory Services department.

In accordance with the established vision and values of the organization, the Respiratory Therapist practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice as outlined by the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and within a client and family-centered care model. Performs ongoing respiratory care in a multi-disciplinary setting to clients with a variety of illnesses/diseases, including but not limited to acute and/or chronic cardio-respiratory illnesses or pathologies, working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team. Enhances quality of life from the perspective of the client/family. Consults, confers, and collaborates with other healthcare professionals. Demonstrates continuous improvement and best practices in respiratory therapy. Maintains and advances own clinical competence. Participates on committees, teams, and approved research projects as assigned.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Nights - 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00, Rotating

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current certification with the CSRT and eligibility for registration with the BCSRT and CSRT.
• Valid BC Driver's License as required in the practice area.
