A leading logistics provider is hiring a DevOps Engineer to modernize infrastructure and support digital transformation. The ideal candidate will enhance a Kubernetes-based platform, manage virtual machine infrastructure, and ensure IT security standards. Essential qualifications include a degree in a technical field, experience with Kubernetes, and strong problem-solving skills. The position is hybrid, located in Germany, and fluency in German (C1) and English is required.

As part of their DevOps team, you’ll contribute to modernizing infrastructure and supporting digital transformation in one of Europe's most vital intermodal logistics networks.
- Building, operating, and enhancing a Kubernetes-based platform
- Managing virtual machine infrastructure through configuration management tools like Puppet
- Developing and maintaining robust monitoring solutions
- Operating and evolving central systems supporting distributed applications (e.g., RabbitMQ, LDAP, Keycloak)
- Applying Infrastructure as Code principles for consistent and scalable infrastructure deployment
- Developing and supporting internal developer tools such as GitLab, SonarQube, and Nexus
- Ensuring IT security standards including patch management, CNAPP solutions, and penetration testing
- Providing support during deployments and participating in on‑call rotations
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Professional experience working with:
- Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Linux systems administration
- Command-line interfaces and shell scripting
- Experience with programming and database management
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices
