  • Soutenir la recherche et la collecte de données: Aider à la collecte et à l’analyse des données relatives à l’équité en santé et aux besoins des populations prioritaires dans les régions du Nord-Est et du Nord-Ouest.

  • Développer des supports de communication : Aider à créer des supports culturellement adaptés et accessibles (par exemple, des présentations, des rapports, des infographies) pour soutenir les initiatives axées sur l’équité.

  • Soutenir l'engagement communautaire: Aider à coordonner les activités de sensibilisation et les séances d’engagement avec les partenaires communautaires, y compris ceux qui servent les populations francophones, noires, 2SLGBTQIA+ et les nouveaux arrivants.

  • Aider à la coordination des projets: Aider à suivre les échéanciers des projets, à organiser des réunions et à soutenir les activités de planification et de mise en œuvre liées aux initiatives de soins de santé axées sur l’équité.

  • Soutien administratif: Fournir une assistance administrative générale à l’équipe, notamment en organisant des réunions, en prenant des notes et en tenant à jour la documentation du projet.

Voici ce dont vous aurez besoin pour réussir:

Éducation:

  • Travailler en vue d'obtenir un diplôme universitaire ou collégial dans l'un des domaines d'études suivants: sciences de la santé, santé publique, promotion de la santé, administration de la santé, gestion de la santé, navigation dans le système de santé, planification de la santé, travail social, services communautaires et sociaux, études sur l'équité,études sur le féminisme, le genre et la sexualité ou dans un domaine connexe.

Connaissances et compétences:

  • Compréhension de base de la planification et de l'analyse du système de santé

  • Connaissance du système de santé de l'Ontario et des enjeux actuels liés à l'équité,

  • Connaissance des principes d’équité, d’inclusion, d’antiracisme et d’anti-oppression,

  • Solides compétences en communication écrite et verbale,

  • Bonne organisation et capacité d'adaptation,

  • Esprit d'équipe et solides compétences interpersonnelles À l'aise avec les données et les outils d'analyse de base

  • Sens aigu du détail, intégrité et professionnalisme

  • Expérience vécue ou engagement communautaire auprès des populations prioritaires

  • Formation en sécurité culturelle, en lutte contre le racisme ou en approches tenant compte des traumatismes

  • La maîtrise de la langue française (parlée et écrite) est considérée comme un atout majeur.

The Health Equity, French-Language Services, and Priority Populations team is committed to addressing systemic health disparities across Ontario’s North East and North West regions. Our team ensures that an equity lens is embedded throughout all aspects of our work. We focus on understanding and supporting the diverse health needs of priority populations, including Black communities, Francophones, 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, newcomers, refugees, asylum-seekers, and people living with disabilities. Here is what you will be doing:

  • Support Research and Data Collection: Assist with gathering and analyzing data related to health equity and the needs of priority populations in the North East and North West regions.

  • Develop Communication Materials: Help create culturally appropriate and accessible materials (e.g., presentations, reports, infographics) to support equity-focused initiatives.

  • Community Engagement Support: Assist in coordinating outreach activities and engagement sessions with community partners, including those serving Francophone, Black, 2SLGBTQIA+, and newcomer populations.

  • Assist with Project Coordination: Help track project timelines, organize meetings, and support planning and implementation activities related to equity-focused health-care initiatives.

  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the team, including organizing meetings, taking minutes, and maintaining project documentation.

Here is what you will need to be successful:

Education:

  • Working towards a University or College diploma/degree in one of the following areas of study: health sciences, public health, health promotion, health administration, health management, health system navigation, health planning, social work, community and social services, equity studies, feminist/gender/sexuality studies or a related field

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Basic understanding of health system planning and analysis

  • Awareness of Ontario’s health-care system and current equity-related issues,

  • Familiarity with equity, inclusion, anti-racism, and anti-oppression principles,

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills,

  • Well-organized and adaptable,

  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills Comfortable working with data and basic analysis tools

  • Demonstrated attention to detail, integrity, and professionalism

  • Lived experience or community involvement with priority populations

  • Training in cultural safety, anti-racism, or trauma-informed approaches

  • French language skills (spoken and written) are considered a strong asset.

Location: North East and North West regions, Ontario.
