Objective
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for coordinating scheduling services for clients, creating high-quality matches, and fostering extraordinary relationships with clients and Care Professionals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
- Create and maintain client and Care Pro schedules, focusing on quality matches and relationship development.
- Monitor, log, and mediate all client and Care Pro activities using the software system.
- Follow up on client and Care Pro issues to ensure resolution.
- Maintain accurate records in the software system.
- Utilize the consultative sales process to increase client loyalty and meet client needs.
- Recognize opportunities to increase service hours for better care quality.
- Handle new client inquiries, enter data into the system, and prepare for Care Consultations.
- Communicate effectively with franchise owners, colleagues, Care Pros, clients, and families.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Design and implement contingency plans to ensure 100% service hour maintenance.
Education/Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of related business experience or equivalent education and work experience; prior scheduling experience in home care/medical industry preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license (preferred).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Understanding and upholding company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, with good phone etiquette.
- Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines.
- Effective interpersonal, judgment, and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Excel.
- Willingness to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends, and participate in emergency after-hours rotation.
- Ability to perform duties in a professional office setting.
- Knowledge of the senior care industry.
Supplemental Pay Types
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, with weekends as needed.
