Qualifications include:

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Business, Finance or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of provincial employment standards practices.
• Three (3) or more years’ work experience in business office management,
• Demonstrated ability to use independent judgment and discretion to make decisions aligned with Company expectations and goals.
• Ability to perform or learn budget analysis and variance reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.
• Position may require driving responsibilities; must possess a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle policy standards.

The Community Business Director responsibilities include:

1. Managing resident data, billing, and contracts.
2. Overseeing community accounting, expenditures, and budgets.
3. Staff hiring, training, and evaluation.
4. Managing accounts receivable/payable.
5. Coordinating HR activities, including hiring, onboarding, and benefits administration.
6. Participating in financial reporting and variance analysis.
7. Training staff and supporting community operations.
8. Assisting in sales inquiries and tours.
9. Serving as ‘manager on duty’ and providing on-call coverage.
10. Ensuring high customer service standards and compliance with safety and legal requirements.
