Job summary
A regional health service provider is seeking a Casual Occupational Therapist to serve clients in the Keremeos and Princeton area. This role involves working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive occupational therapy services including assessments, treatment planning, and program implementation. Candidates should be equipped to educate clients and caregivers while promoting functional independence. This casual role offers flexibility with hours and the potential for future regular employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to clients in Keremeos and Princeton.

The Home Health Rehab team have an opening for an Occupational Therapist, to provide services to clients in the Keremeos and Princeton area.

The occupational therapist works independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team providing inpatient, outpatient, residential and community occupational therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education of residents/clients/patients and/or their caregivers to promote functional independence and enable the client to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes. The occupational therapist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the department; participates in departmental/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education; and provides work direction to the rehabilitation assistants working with the rehabilitation team in regards to transfer of function.
