Job summary
A leading retailer of menswear in Mississauga is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Merchandise Handler. Responsibilities include processing incoming and outgoing merchandise, maintaining stock levels, and supporting the logistics team. - Attention to detail in processing incoming / outgoing merchandise in the shipping / receiving area of the store
- Championing the maintenance of store merchandise and maintaining stock levels
- A Team Player with the ability to work individually and as part of a team to achieve store goals
- An individual who takes accountability to ensure that all merchandise is received, scanned and tagged appropriately
- Able to work in the stock room within the retail store, working collaboratively with in-store team
- Flexible and adaptable – to merchandise receipts in / out going ensuring accuracy
- Able to respond to the needs of the store at any given time
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Supporting our logistics team in placing and locating products on the sales floor
- Able to lift and move heavy boxes and be on your feet / able to bend, kneel, and move as required
- Assisting with physical inventory, bi-annually
