Role Overview : As a Senior Manager in Employee Relations, you will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership and People Business Partners (PBPs). You will provide expert guidance and proactive solutions to foster a positive and productive work environment. Your responsibilities include interpreting and applying company policies, managing complex employee relations issues, leading and developing the Employee Relations team, and ensuring fair and consistent practices across the organization. This role requires deep expertise in employee relations principles, employment law, risk management, and team leadership, along with a strong ability to influence, mediate, and derive actionable insights.
What You'll Do :
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and PBPs on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
- Identify and analyze employee relations trends and risks, developing strategies to mitigate these risks and improve employee experience.
- Lead and develop the Employee Relations team through guidance, coaching, and mentorship.
- Manage complex employee investigations, ensuring thoroughness, impartiality, and compliance, and provide resolutions.
- Partner with Employment Legal and PBPs to interpret employment laws across geographies, ensuring legal compliance.
- Develop and maintain employee relations policies and procedures aligned with company values and legal requirements.
- Coach managers and employees on communication, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Collaborate with the broader People team to ensure a consistent approach to employee matters.
- Implement proactive employee relations initiatives to enhance engagement and reduce conflict.
- Analyze data and investigation outcomes to identify systemic issues and inform training and preventative measures.
- Resolve employee grievances and complaints promptly and fairly.
- Support organizational changes, such as restructurings, ensuring legal and policy compliance.
- Maintain confidential employee relations records per legal and company standards.
