- Experience with Front-End JavaScript frameworks a plus.
- Good understanding of API design and REST.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain back-end services using Node.js.
- Design and implement APIs for frontend applications.
- Collaborate with the frontend team on application features.
Skills
We are looking for an experiencedNode.js Back-End Developer for our client. This is apermanent position that is completely remote! Our client is a fintech company based out of Vancouver.
- 1 - 3 + years of production experience working with Node.js, JavaScript / TypeScript and related frameworks (NestJS, Express)
- Experience working with Front-End JavaScript frameworks like React / Redux / Bootstrap
- Good understanding of API design and REST
- Knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.) databases
- Experience working with Startups are considered a bonus
- Experience working with cloud services, specifically AWS are considered a bonus
- Remote + flexible work schedule
