CNC Field Service Engineer
Job summary
A leading manufacturing firm is seeking a CNC Field Service Engineer for a high-travel opportunity of up to 95%. You will install, align, and service CNC machinery while troubleshooting and supporting customers. Ideal candidates should have strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, along with a problem-solving mindset and a commitment to customer service. The position requires extensive domestic and international travel.
Qualifications
- CNC service experience with mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Hands-on background with ball screws, alignments, and hydrostatic ways.
- Ability to read and apply mechanical/electrical schematics.
- Willingness to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Travel up to 95% to install, align, and service CNC machinery.
- Perform ball screw replacements, hydrostatic way maintenance, and precision machine alignments.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Deliver high-quality support and training directly to customers.
