Job summary
A leading contact center company in Toronto seeks a Manager of Software Development to oversee software applications and data infrastructure. The role requires technical expertise and leadership to guide a team in delivering impactful solutions. Candidates should have experience with cloud platforms, various programming languages, and strong communication skills. This full-time position offers a competitive salary between $80,000 and $120,000 CAD annually.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with relevant programming languages.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency with version control systems.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- 3+ years of related management experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of software engineers.
- Coach teams in Agile methodologies to optimize processes.
- Guide product vision and prioritize backlogs as Product Owner.
- Communicate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges.
- Conduct technical reviews of architecture, code, and data models.
- Oversee the software and data release lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks across operations.
- Plan and manage software and data projects including timelines.
